Privacy policy
Last updated 13 July 2026. This site is run by Lawrence Humblet (lawrencehumblet.com). This page explains what personal data is collected, why, and how to contact me about it.
Who is responsible
Lawrence Humblet is the data controller for this website and the tools hosted on it. Contact: data@lawrencehumblet.com.
What this site collects
Contact form: name, email, optional company, and message. Messages are sent by email via Resend so I can reply.
Analytics: the site uses Google Tag Manager. That may set cookies or similar identifiers used for traffic measurement and marketing tags you configure in GTM.
Sheets CSV to SFTP tool: if you sign in with Google, I store your Google account email and name, an encrypted Google refresh token (so scheduled exports can keep working), your export settings, encrypted SFTP credentials, notification email preferences, and a short run history (success/failure, row counts, filenames, error text).
Upgrade and feedback forms on that tool: name, email, optional company, and message, delivered to me by email.
Google access
The Sheets CSV to SFTP tool asks Google for read-only access to Spreadsheets and Drive file metadata so it can list your sheets, read selected tabs/columns, and build the export file. It does not ask for permission to edit your sheets.
You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account security settings. Revoking access will stop future scheduled exports that rely on that connection.
How data is used
To reply to enquiries and provide consulting services.
To run the Sheets CSV to SFTP tool you configure (exports, schedules, connection tests, confirmation emails).
To understand site traffic and improve the site.
I do not sell personal data. I do not use your Google Sheet contents for marketing.
Storage and security
The site is hosted on Vercel. Email is sent through Resend. Tool configuration and credentials are stored in a Postgres database linked to the project. SFTP secrets and Google refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with a server-side key.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Use an SFTP account limited to the folder you need, and rotate credentials if a partner changes servers.
Retention
Contact and upgrade/feedback emails are kept as normal business correspondence.
Sheets CSV to SFTP accounts and schedules are kept while the tool is in use, including if you do not log in for extended periods, so daily schedules can continue. You can stop a schedule in the tool, or ask me to delete your tool account and stored credentials.
Run history is kept to show recent export status in the tool UI.
Your choices
Email data@lawrencehumblet.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data I hold about you, or to ask that a Sheets CSV to SFTP account and credentials be removed.
You can stop a schedule in the tool, sign out, and revoke Google OAuth access from your Google account. Signing out alone does not stop an active schedule.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, I will update this page and the date above.
